Movies are teh awesome ^_^

Here is what I've done recently:
1)Hang out at a sports bar to watch 3 football games (FSU vs Syracuse, Alabama vs Miami, and one other) and the Red Sox/Yankees game with my math teacher, Andy (He is a grad student, looks about 27, and is a complete nerd like me)
2)Watched Serenity, the best sci-fi movie I've seen in years(and the funiest)
3)Put off doing my laundry. It's a bad habit of mine. I have 2 pairs of pants left.
4)Narrowed down my list of topics for my 10-page research paper due at the end of the month to The Separation of Church and State, The Pros and Cons of Hydrogen as a Fuel Source, The Neo-Pagan Movement, or The Percecution of Pagan Beliefs by Society.
5)Went to see Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure/Costume contest/Air-guitar contest at the school theater. Totally awesome.
6)Watched the new Family Guy DVD. Some of the best jokes I've ever seen.
7)Watched Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Not as good as the book, but still funny. Worst part was the opening song, dolphins singing "Good Bye, So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish".

In other news, I'm going to see Howl's Moving Castle tonight. Its only the second movie that Hayao Miyazaki has done that he didn't write (the first was Kiki's Delivery Service). I hope its really good.

I don't like my roommate. He did drugs in High School (something that I will never condone due to my experiences with my family), is 17, and is obsessed with getting drunk, finding drugs, and sleeping. He feels that nobody goes to college to learn and doesn't like me because I think differently. My dorm is awful. The other night at ten, the fire alarm went off and everyone had to evacuate or get a $100 fine. It happened again at two in the morning. It was a short in the system, but we had to leave anyway. My floor has at least three shouting matches a week with one of them involving slamming and pounding on doors. I found a shopping cart at the end of the hall one morning. It was aparrently used for bowling. I have seen one sword fight (shields and thin PVC pipes). I have also learned that I hate people that party all night every night and that get so drunk that they feel the need to scream "I'm So Wasted!!" down the halls or at the building to let everyone know.

Sorry, got a little carried away with this post. I'll check back later. C ya ^_^

Yeah. I might be coming back in a few weeks. The only problem with the paper is that I need a minimum of 6 sources. I really want to do the pagan things, but they are so broad, and, other than your book, I don't know how many physical sources I'll be able to find (max of 3 online). I forgot that there is a Pagan Student Organization here on campus. I might join, if I can find the time. I also forgot to mention that I may get Andy's job helping run the campus planetarium.

planetarium!!!!!!!! OMFG STARS.

you should find the local hippie shops. they often have a selection of books they're selling, some of them are merely libraries for reading while there.

I'm not at the planetarium yet. I MAY start whenever Andy leaves. Thats if I can work it around school. Its 10-20 Hours a week and $7.00 an hour. Cool idea about the books, I'll look into it. My problem is shortage of money right now. My place wants about $2750 in their account by the first for spring term (I dont get spring money until Jan.) and all I have is about $1900. The financial aid office hasn't given me all of my Pell grant or any of my Stafford Loan.
